Oh, what a perfect November afternoon it was to capture this joyful maternity session at the Peak Trestle on the Palmetto Trail! The weather was absolutely perfect, with the golden leaves showing off their gorgeous hues and perfect blue skies shining over the Broad River. The sweetest little family — a glowing mama-to be, proud daddy, and a sweet little girl over-the-moon excited about her baby brother on the way — was overflowing with joy as we made our way down the Peak Trestle bridge in the golden afternoon sunlight. I cannot think of a more perfect ending for my 2019 photography season than this!
This session was extra-special for me not only because it was my last session before maternity leave, but also because Ryan and Tuan’s sweet baby boy will be my first newborn session of the new year! I still remember when Ryan contacted me this summer and we found out that our due dates are just a week and a half apart. As we both approach our last few weeks of pregnancy, it has been so exciting for me to feel the excitement and anticipation about not just my own baby’s arrival, but hers as well! I truly have the best job being able to capture so many sweet seasons for all these beautiful families!
