The waters of Lake Murray lapped quietly at the shore, and it was just us and the early morning fishermen — although it very well could have been just the two of them, the sweetest, most radiant parents-to-be savoring every moment of the final weeks before meeting their long-awaited little one.

The new mama gazed lovingly into her baby’s face and called her name in the sweetest sing-song voice as her daughter slept soundly in her daddy’s arms. You could see the love and thought that went into every detail of this cozy space, and the look in their eyes told that nothing could compare to the joy of having their precious little one—the one they had dreamed of and prayed for—finally in their arms.

Cozy Fall Family Session at Home
Snuggles and tickles on mom and dad’s bed. Mom and daughter baking cookies together while dad and son played together on the floor. A sweet, happy boy, grinning with the biggest smiles after kisses from his mama, and his spunky, independent big sister eager to show the way! There was such a feeling of coziness and warmth in this precious family’s home, and it felt like the most perfect Saturday morning as I photographed them together at home!
